Jonas Liveröd is a Swedish artist, living and working in Malmö in southern Sweden. Liveröd works across all aspects of contemporary culture, not only producing artworks but also curating and creating interaction between different disciplines such as landscape architecture, design and music.
Active on the international art scene with exhibitions and projects at galleries across Europe, the core of his work is concentrated on sculpture, drawing and installation.
For years, Re-public has maintained a rewarding working partnership with Jonas Liveröd, resulting in a number of collaborative art publications and exhibitions. Working as curators and editors, our design has given new form to Liveröd’s work – even to be regarded as new works of art in themselves.
The latest project is Permanent Daylight. Designed as a hybrid between a book, a newspaper and a magazine, the publication presents the reader with a selection of Liveröds artistic works — mixed together with inspirational materials, references, notes, anecdotes, interviews and other bits and pieces that form the structure of Liverödland.
Permanent Daylight has been honored with the Gold Circle and Special Circle at the Danish Creative Circle Awards, named Best of the Best at the Red Dot Design Award, and received the German Design Award, Kolla! award and Design S award.
