Jonas Liveröd Permanent Daylight German Design Awards

German Design Award 2015

29 April 2015

The art publication Permanent Daylight, published by Swedish artist Joans Liveröd and designed by Re-public has yet again received international recognition. This time in the Editorial Design category at the German Design Awards 2015.

The award ceremony will take place in Frankfurt in feburary next year. More information can be found at the German Design Awards website.

Jury statement:
“Permanent Daylight is a highly unusual art publication by Swedish artist Jonas Liveröd – designed as a fascinating book-cum-newspaper-cum-magazine. It presents the reader with a selection of Liveröd’s artistic works – carefully compiled from material about the sources that inspired him and complete with references and awards. The individual elements are united by a black bar, which frames the art work, gives it support and creates visual calm in the otherwise fragmented content. It is exciting in terms of both form and content.”
